National Yoga Party Charter
National Yoga Party Charter
The National Yoga Party is an association of organized voters who practice Yoga and so share a common understanding of the world and the steps necessary to help make it a better place.
Our Charter is Simple. We seek to be organized and disciplined and ready to vote together.
1) We are loosely aligned Democrats who just want to be more clear about our positions regarding eating animals and not being conscious of our actions and how that effects the world.
2) We suggest the practice of Yoga Poses for great exercise and Yoga Meditation for peace of mind and heart, and the combination of both at the same time as a great practice. We are not affiliated with any religion at all. People of all Faiths can incorporate yoga (scientific) techniques for health and peace of mind.
3) We are environmentally oriented with a deep respect for the earth. We are interested in very concrete actions to mitigate climate change and loss of rainforest and nature everywhere.
We understand that humans try to live in balance with the earth.
4) We are opposed to the idea of biofuels as a solutions to the climate and energy situation as biofuels cause more carbon than they save to make and because they drive prices of staple foods higher where it can't be afforded.
5) We choose to when we can and prefer to not eat meat or fish because we know the multitude of reasons for limiting its intake.
6) We are supporters of the Unions and the people who organize to make a better life for themselves.
7) We believe Exercising Every Day and Eating Smart Help make us smarter and healthier.
8) We Believe that Peace is the highest state for human kind. Battles may have to be fought but peace is the jewel. Unnecessary war is to be stopped and peacekeeping forces increased to bring more peace on Earth.
9) We strongly disagree with all forms of hunting except for survival and whaling as presently practiced by the Japanese Government.
10) We believe that kindness and compassion can be a guiding principle in our dealings with our fellow human beings and have a reverence for life itself.

Gratitude
The foundation of all spiritual sensations is gratitude. First things first. We take everything for granted all the time, until we have a near death experience and we wake up. I have heard it said, and i agree, that a near death experience that you survive is the greatest thing that can happen to a person. It certainly was for me. We have been given the greatest of all, human birth, and each breath is a profound gift. Each breath doesnt have to come to us... and that it does is incredible and mystical. Taking things for granted seems to be the human condition but if you establish yourself in gratitude even for a few moments at a time, a whole world of peace and enlightenment unfolds for you.

Go Vegan Radio requires our support!!!!!
URGENT
please forward to everyone now
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
ANIMAL LOVERS, ADVOCATES, & ACTIVISTS - PLEASE WAKE UP AND SUPPORT ONE OF THE GREATEST BREAKTHROUGHS FOR ANIMALS, HUMAN HEALTH, & THE ENVIRONMENT EVER!!!
You know that education and outreach are the the ultimate weapons that animals can have to support them. Until now, there has never been an anti animal-cruelty program regularly scheduled on a major mass media network.
Perhaps you have been too busy to contemplate the magnitude of this breakthrough for animals, for if you had, you certainly would have sold your house, your car, your jewels, and made the most generous donation possible to ensure this program's continuation; for if you had contemplated the magnitude, you certainly would have dedicated yourself to many hours of creative fundraising to guarantee that the animals have representation in the mass media, and perhaps you would have done so with an equal fervor to that of the army currently marching through California in a signature gathering campaign.
Just as every animal's life matters, every person reached with the story of the animals' plight matters. We have no problem devoting a day's energy to set up a storefront table and talk to a few people. We may reach a few more with a megaphone in the streets. But now, the animals have the microphone, and their advocacy is heard around the world, and on dozens of radio stations all across America - in the 4 largest cities in the country, 5 of the top 10, also on XM Satellite, podcasts, archives.
You are busy. You have no time to waste. There is an undeniable urgency faced by the animals and environment, and now a means to address it. This is the most important radio program ever. Make it your priority. People need to know that meat and dairy will kill them, that meat and dairy are causing global warming, that meat and dairy cause energy crises, that vivisection is fraud, that circuses, rodeos, and zoos are not entertainment, that animals' skins aren't fabric, that dogs and cats need to be spayed and neutered. People need to hear perspectives from guests like Dennis Kucinich, Ingrid Newkirk, Howard Lyman, Chris DeRose, Alex Hershaft, Tom Regan, Gary Francione - all on recent broadcasts.
PLEASE - STOP WHAT YOU'RE DOING...
DONATE RIGHT NOW -
whatever you can - $10 or $10,000.
It's tax-deductible.
GO VEGAN RADIO must pay Air America approximately $200,000 annually - for the animals to have a voice. $60,000 has been raised thus far. $6000 is due now, with $12,000 due at the end of the month. There are no large donors, and support from large organizations, while appreciated, has been minimal.
SO IT'S UP TO YOU TO SUPPORT THE GRASSROOTS EFFORT FOR THE ANIMALS.
What's your priority? Is what you are doing as important as having the true cause of the animals heard by hundreds of thousands, and millions? They pay with their lives. You can pay to save them. Please donate to - and fundraise for -
FDA gets blasted!
The Food and Drug Administration was recently lambasted by a third party review with the help of former employees and the report says that the FDA is absolutely useless in protecting the public from either unsafe 'food' or drugs!
We are wasting so much money on war we cant even protect our country from poisonous profit mongers. A lot of people are getting really sick and a few people are making a lot of money and the people who should be helping are appointed by the people making the money. Tough for us i guess. Cancer is everywhere and everyone thinks it is normal!
