40% British Cancers Preventable and American Cancer Association said cancer prevention would be profound

The Daily Telegraph in London reported on research which indicates that 40% of Cancers in the UK is preventable.

The American Cancer Association said last week that over 35 % of Cancer cases in the United States could be avoided with change in Diet, Exercise, and Alcohol.

As the Obama administration is interested in Preventative Health as a means to mitigate the Health Care epidemic of costs and lack of results, I submit an answer.

As i have written about in my book, A Clear and Definite Path, the key to health is the combination of Eating Smart and Exercising Smart, and doing both as a lifestyle not a diet. I have been teaching and coaching this subject for 10 years and have seen result after result of people who have started in deep pain and ill health, and brought them to a place of pain free and healthier overall condition.

We need to put all of our intention and attention towards Prevention! Prevention of obesity in Childhood, Prevention of Cancer, Prevention of Heart Disease. Prevention is always better than cure! I can handle any study that somebody wants to fund or support demonstrating the relationship between Yoga, Smart Eating and Disease Prevention.

I have already designed such a study, and i will be forwarding this email to President Obama as well. We will see how serious people are about prevention of Disease and lowering health care costs on the both the front and back end substantially. Think of all the money that could be saved if people were not getting the kind of diseases with the kind of frequency.

It has long been obvious that smarter decisions effect things. What is interesting about this week is that the big research forces and cancer organizations are clearly explaining that the Triumverate of Eating Smart, Exercising Daily and reduce Alcohol can and will PREVENT CANCER. It is noteworthy that they are drawing this conclusion and hopefully the skeptical will now see the the light. Prevention is better than Cure!

The Fred Busch Program that i put my students on does exactly this! It creates an environment for prevention of problems, or alleviates already existing ones, within a spiritual context of realizing your true nature and Higher Self.

The Fred Busch program is specifically designed to Prevent Cancer.

Happy to be in London

I just arrived back in London to do the Teachers Training that begins in two days. I am excited to meet the new Teacher Training Group and to reconnect with my friends from last years. Just arrived this morning and i teach a Public Class tomorrow morning at 10:30am at Fulham Yogashala and then will begin the official training on Sunday. I will try to post pictures and give updates the way a blog is supposed to be used. Blessings!

Kiva Microlending

Hi!

I just made a loan to someone in the developing world using a revolutionary new website called Kiva (www.kiva.org).

You can go to Kiva's website and lend to someone in the developing world who needs a loan for their business - like raising goats, selling vegetables at market or making bricks. Each loan has a picture of the entrepreneur, a description of their business and how they plan to use the loan so you know exactly how your money is being spent - and you get updates letting you know how the entrepreneur is going.

The best part is, when the entrepreneur pays back their loan you get your money back - and Kiva's loans are managed by microfinance institutions on the ground who have a lot of experience doing this, so you can trust that your money is being handled responsibly.

I just made a loan to an entrepreneur named Gladys Nimako in Ghana. They still need another $475.00 to complete their loan request of $525.00 (you can loan as little as $25.00!). Help me get this entrepreneur off the ground by clicking on the link below to make a loan to Gladys Nimako too:

It's finally easy to actually do something about poverty - using Kiva I know exactly who my money is loaned to and what they're using it for. And most of all, I know that I'm helping them build a
sustainable business that will provide income to feed, clothe, house and educate their family long after my loan is paid back.

Join me in changing the world - one loan at a time.

Thanks!
