Weight Loss Testimonial and Before and After Pic! - "i have never put it together like this so weird looking at myself like this in stages."

"here it is! i have never put it together like this so weird looking at myself like this in 'stages'.
the 1st photo is prior to my 1st accident in 2010.

the 2nd is when i came back to Fred Busch in 2011 after recovering from my 1st surgery. unhealthy, depressed and lost.

then i quit cigarettes, stopped drinking alcohol (only special occasions), changing my eating habits (became vegetarian), drinking more water, E3live, regular exercise, becoming more humble and gaining a positive outlook (which included dropping the 'ego') and most importantly acceptance of myself, my life and the things you can and can not change... and that anything worth it comes with a little hard work, love and dedication...

i was never trying to loose weight, i just wanted to live longer, be stronger and become truly healthy. hope it helps inspire! thank you fred for creating that spark again (with a little tough love and a tear or 2 ) it has changed my life completely. forever grateful for the knowledge and support XO" Melina Lobos

The Raw Food Yogi- Aligning Nature, Spirituality and Health

“All structure is made by processes of nutrition; all repairs are accomplished by nutrition; it is through nutrition that we come to have organs in the first place; it is only through nutrition that they are constantly repaired; it is through it that we come into being and maintain life.” Dr. Herbert M. Shelton.

Meanwhile because the organic matter is now dead, the bacterial flora have ample soil with which to decompose further and create the toxic by-products sulfar-diaxide, ammonia and many others..

“As Above, So Below”
An example of a simple truth that has awe inspiring implications so below.” So simple is this truth that many may not even imagine that within that statement lay the underlying truths about all life and all universal expression.

Any situation on one plane of existence can be used as an analogy that can be taken to represent any other universal truth. A truth that speaks on every level that you wish to investigate.

The same root for Sadhana is the Sadhu in India which may have Sadhanas like holding one arm up for 9 years and stuff like that all in the name of Divine Surrender. I do not think it is important to hold one’s arm up for years, however the strength of the Faith and Love of God, which these Spiritual Men exude is to be emulated in the Faith and love we have for our Divine Nature, and then the Strength will come.

For expanded analogy you need expanded context. Expanded context is expanded experience. So use everything you see and learn as an analogy for some truth for as above, so below.

The mechanism for learning is universal and involves context. Context is also triangulation. Without analogy it is almost impossible to explain anything to anybody
All analogy demands that you have a common context which serves as the bridge between the listener and the speaker. It is the common context that allows for the mutual connection. It is also employing visualization.

The human mind always has the tendency to “picture” what is being talked about. This is the analogy, the relation, that the mind needs to understand anything. Observe in yourself how often your thoughts take the form of pictures and notice how the more experiences you have had the more and different “pictures” or contexts you have to relate to the present. Remember this is not about the past or “thinking” in the mental chatter sense, this is about the expression of pure consciousness as it navigates the present moment, surrendered and with love.

When you consider anything you know or any mechanism for understanding, it will almost always be structured as “it is like… or as this.” This simile structure is analogy and it is no coincidence that almost everything that we describe and explain in attempting to make others understand something involves analogy.

Consider a foundation. Any structure needs a foundation if it wants to endure.

Core Analogy : FOUNDATIONS
It is the inherent design of foundations that they are not to be seen. They are not supposed to collect accolades as to beauty or grandeur. In fact, foundations are solely designed to remain underground and hidden and that is how they do there job. And yet, any architect will tell you that the foundation of the structure is the most important and without a solid foundation it is better not to build on the site.
Foundations are underground. They are inside.
The foundation is the place from which one may build. Without the foundation it is futile to build because the structure will not hold.

Core Analogy:
What is your specific destination?
My answer to how to get where you want to go will always be two-fold and contradictory. Paradoxical more like it. I will first always remind you that the journey itself is the destination- the present moment is always complete and whole and perfect.

In order to go in the right direction towards your destination, you must recognize when you are lost and then change course. If you constantly assume that you are going in the right direction without ever verifying with a map or other means, you can wind up very far off course before you discover your location. When traveling the most annoying and draining feeling is being lost. When we are lost there is a feeling of anger and frustration. We consider the energy that we are wasting and the time that has been lost as we try to determine the right direction to go.

If you are under time constraints, like going to the airport and you are late for your flight, then you had better consider carefully the best way to get un-lost as there is little time to spare. You do not have to ask for directions of course, but that could make matters drastically worse

If you ask someone who is also lost which is the right way to go you may not get the best answer.

Or maybe you don’t consider yourself lost because you are following so closely behind everyone else that you know. As you follow the group you do not sense that anything can be wrong with the direction everybody is heading. But look carefully and you will see that the direction that everyone is presently headed may not be ideal.
So although you may not consider yourself totally lost, you are least open to the possibility that another path, another course may be more effective for you.

And consider the analogy as an expression of the tone of this book as well. I am of the disposition of someone on the side of the road casually giving you directions. There is no judgment or sense of wrongdoing or righteousness. I am simply here to show the way, take it leave with the seed.

Why backtrack 15 or 30 or 45 years of disastrous living styles if you don’t have to?

Fred

My name is Fred Busch and I am a Raw Food Yogi.
I eat only 100% Raw food, I practice Yoga asana vigorously everyday.
I am experiencing the benefits of great physical strength, mental agility and connectedness to the universe. One cell at a time, one day at a time I am getting healthier and more full of love.

I am also just like any other person. I grew up on the pizza, burgers and pasta diet for the first 18 years of my life. I am not here to hold high moral ground. I am certainly not here to judge. I am here however to enlighten you to the possibility that there is a more fulfilling life to be led when you can align yourself to the laws of Nature by eating a natural diet and vigorously exercising.

I smoked cigarettes for 5 years, ate meat everyday and never ate salad or fruit until my twenties. Yet I was always attracted to nature and the natural world. My inclination to all things natural and wild led me to study Environmental Policy in university. I know from my own example that no matter how divorced we become from Nature in our lifestyle, the call to Nature endures. And so with that vision I see in everybody around me the pure and vast potential of Nature.

It is said that a gorilla can bench press 4000 lbs. The domestication of the wild human begins at the first bite full of cooked food.

While laying in bed for weeks with terrible headaches I had visions of myself exercising and sweating and EXPRESSING the gift of the human body and I saw the value of health above all. I was treated in Africa but decided that rather than go to India as I had intended, I had better return home and heal and hopefully return to full health.

Perhaps you are lucky enough to not have had to realize first hand that health is the most important thing in the entire world. If you already know about the value of health then you will begin to tear through these pages in earnest. If not, then let me simply tell you that no matter what else you can imagine, if you are not healthy, you have nothing.

Exercise and food

The reason why Vinyasa yoga is so good, this is the way I usually start with people, I usually start with people explaining that two things are required for perfect functioning of the brain, body and in other words health and peace, two things, exercise and food. Exercise has to be everyday, no exceptions and has to be perfect meaning systematic, comprehensive and vigorous, but not injurious, perfect and everyday. And then the food has to be as close to perfect as you want it to be. And as close to perfect as you can get it and still have fun in our life so to speak.
Now people who have one side of that mastered and not the other will always find a problem. People that are all into raw food look like the biggest group of weirdo’s you’ve ever seen. They don’t exercise, they don’t look healthy, the reason they’re not necessarily exercising right, and that’s the reason that they wouldn’t look healthy. If they did, they would look healthier than anybody. It’s a whole bunch of eat real and well but don’t know anything about yoga and exercise and they just eat well and good but they don’t exercise and it shows, because you can’t be healthy and not exercise. They’re the end of the spectrum or all the athletes out there who are going physical specimens but eat like shit and then they are also on the road to disaster. When they put the both of them together you have an environment of transformation, no potential that is profound, that’s what the program is.
giving it the opportunity to let your body be in this place that it loves to be which is exercising everyday and eating perfectly and resting a lot and all that stuff that it likes to do when its doing what it wants to do.

Sadhana

The Raw Food Yogi has a Raw Food-Yoga Sadhana and this is the foundation for his success. My Sadhana is that I practice Astanga Yoga every day except Saturday and that I eat only 100% Raw food. This to me is as much of a spiritual practice as a health regiment, and yet it is surely the healthiest regiment in the world. When I consider my Sadhana, I feel very deep spiritual feelings where the Sadhana is seen as the God’s Personal Vehicle to go and do as a vessel of Natual Law.

And it has been the Sadhana aspect of my practice that is the most important. When it is a spiritual practice, it just feels different than a regular “workout”. It may be possible to skip a “workout” pretty easily but less likely to try to fool the divine universal

Any body can have a Sadhana. What I hope to inspire is that the Sadhana of eating Raw Food and doing vigorous Yoga practice is the most powerful for healing and restoring.

Sadhana does not have to start out as 100% Raw and practicing yoga 2 hours everyday immediately. Actually it is started quite humbly. Just start by eating one banana a day more than you would have eaten, and start with one sun salutation everyday. This Sadhana would take about 1 minute and a half. Yet it is just as spiritually powerful as any other. Then the next week two extra bananas and two sun salutations. In a few months, taking it very slowly, you can evolve your Sadhana so that you only eat fruit before noon and you do 30 minutes of Yoga daily. This is powerful stuff. All you have to do is start.

To consider your daily actions to be spiritual acts delivers great strength. Sadhana is a personal practice or discipline done without attachment to the fruits of the actions.

Sadhana is the vehicle. You do it everyday!

Sadhana is a Sankrit word for “Daily Spiritual Discipline or Practice,” and is the foundation to the practice of Yoga. All great people have great Sadhanas.

Deepok Chopra, one of the most respected healers in the world, begins each day at 4am with Sitting Meditation and Yoga until 6am and then he writes for 2 hours all the material for his many books, and then does some exercise, ALL BEFORE 9AM. And so he says that he has taken care of his entire being, Mind, Body, Spirit and Livelihood, all before 9am so that everything that happens in the rest of the day is just extra. This is one of the most powerful Sadhanas that I have ever heard of and it is not surprising that it comes from such a successful person.

Not most days, everyday! There are no “I don’t feel like it todays”! It is not a question of “if?” you are gonna practice that day, but rather “when?”.

SEEING INTELLIGENCE AS AN ORGANIZING PRINCIPLE

Inside the skin, a vast and intensely organized divine vital domain exists operating under a level of intelligence that is beyond our consciousness and yet is the source of our consciousness. A living fluid cellular sacred domain which is always striving for the highest degree of health (life) possible under the conditions found.

This intelligent system is responsible for the developing of the embryo to the human child.

Operating through your brain and your nervous system, an intelligence behind consciousness is directing the millions of actions that were responsible for your development from a fetus until now. It was the mothers brain which controlled the development until a certain point when the universal intelligence began to move through the brain and nervous system of the baby. The brain and nervous system as expressions of the deeper intelligence of consciousness control all growth and healing. Healing is just the same as the original growth.

Music

Frequency can mean several things, the rate of speed and the rate of vibration. What make music, music?

What makes music is the space between the notes. It is the preciseness and the precision and the empty space between the notes that creates the rhythm of it because if there wasn’t the empty space precise then it would be a cacophony, it would be not music, and it would be noise.

The space between the sentences, between the words bring a relaxing energy and that they are specific, there’s always different spaces because we're completely conscious of the space.

If you’re going to teach, with a little bit of attention, you more than you. Employ it to the degree you want, you had employ immediately. Being in your presence needs to be relaxing that will have to be transmitted at all times. In every word that you say, in every sentence that you speak you have to visualize centeredness, you have to exist from there.

Cellular radar

Your body has radar of streaming of flow. Cellular radar, so as you swallow something it’s communicating in every way about what you just ate. It knows. As you swallow what you ate because it knows that if you’re eating sugar, it needs to prepare for the insulin and that stuff it need to prepare for whatever it’s going get so the tongue, the throat and all that is a radar for whatever is going down. So if you eat something like meat or something like that is not food, your body sends out the alarm. The alarm is designed to marsh out resources that’s created so that you can live another day.that I equate everything the same, fish equals veal, and you know what veal is, it’s all that other side but veal’s another fine conversation. Assuming you can laugh about it. Its despicable situation we find ourselves in our planet which you better laugh, if you don’t laugh, you don’t have to crash. And do your best to change this whole thing one person at a time beginning with yourselves.

Raw, Yoga, Sadhana

The Raw Food eating and Yoga practice Sadhana leads to a more conscious awareness of mental processes. This opens the door to a power of triangulation where the Attitude is the third major point.

Core Analogy:

Consider a song which is playing on the radio as you walk in a room and you find rough and a little grating. Since the song is initially disliked you begin to resist it and wish that it would end. This resistance to the song is expressed in a resistance pattern or tension in the body as well.

But then all the sudden you realize that the voice of the singer sounds a bit familiar and then you recognize it to be your favorite artist. In fact you were listening to a brand new song by your favorite singer. Instantly upon this realization your disposition toward the song changes. You soon feel yourself accepting the music deep into your body and listening/receiving the song with gratitude. Soon you are gently swaying to the music and happy to be listening to the song which is by now recognized to be quite good.

This analogy is helpful on many fronts in understanding how a positive attitude can create your reality as you go through your life one present moment at a time.

First of all the “song” can be any “person in your life” whom you initially resist because perhaps that person has a negative energetic pattern and you are initially repulsed. But then as you look a little closer at the person there seems to be something that you recognize not as being deserved of scorn, but rather of love. And with an open heart and love in your eyes you enter the field of that person and instantly they are transformed to lovable and beautiful spiritual beings on the path to self-improvement and doing their best.

This is how a positive attitude operates to form an enlightened energy field.

Nature and the Divine

I sat in still and stunned awe when I realized that the two practices, raw food and Astanga yoga positive feed each other, that Raw Food eating strengthens the Yoga Asana Practice, which in turn strengthens the mental will power, and that they are both spiritual practices and both aligning to Nature. The vision I had of the Raw Food Yogi is that of a Natural Yogi, one with the planet, the universe of Nature’s Laws. Yoga means “Union” in Sanskrit, and The Natural Yogi lives in union with nature. When we align to nature, we are satisfied, and the only way one can ever live in tune with nature is to align to the human’s natural diet.

I actually see the words Nature and Spirituality as the same. To me, God and Nature are interchangeable words. In this case, the God of the Eagle becomes “God as the Eagle” or “God as the Trees.” In this way, Nature is the expression of divine presence on the planet. It is an understanding that all living beings are expressions of the divine.

Yoga and consciousness

As yoga is primarily concerned with the lifting of consciousness in ones daily life, the selection of Raw food for each meal becomes an expression of the highest level of consciousness. And as yoga is in the union of that which is seemingly dual, the awareness of the fact that “we are what we eat” is a Yoga practice in and of itself. Many people new to Yoga consider that it is basically a physical practice. These people have gone to yoga classes and experienced the Asana limb of yoga. The Asana limb of the great Patanjali’s Yoga Sutras, one of the sacred yoga texts, involves physical postures and strengthening of the body. As we know this is essential to maintain health in the body, but for our purpose here we will make clearly state that this is not the main goal of yoga, which is enlightenment, or union with the divine. It is no coincidence then to find that union with the divine comes in hand with maintaining a healthy body, a healthy temple.

A Quote by Dr. Robert Snaidach of the Transformation Instititute

“By far the most important cause of ill health in man is his many and habitual dietetic errors of one kind or another, the immediate results of which are not felt and intelligently evaluated. It is the gradual erosion of health by the more or less constant bombardment by erroneous eating practices which, in most cases, is responsible for the destruction of health.” Dr. Robert Snaidach.
