Exercise and food

The reason why Vinyasa yoga is so good, this is the way I usually start with people, I usually start with people explaining that two things are required for perfect functioning of the brain, body and in other words health and peace, two things, exercise and food. Exercise has to be everyday, no exceptions and has to be perfect meaning systematic, comprehensive and vigorous, but not injurious, perfect and everyday. And then the food has to be as close to perfect as you want it to be. And as close to perfect as you can get it and still have fun in our life so to speak.
Now people who have one side of that mastered and not the other will always find a problem. People that are all into raw food look like the biggest group of weirdo’s you’ve ever seen. They don’t exercise, they don’t look healthy, the reason they’re not necessarily exercising right, and that’s the reason that they wouldn’t look healthy. If they did, they would look healthier than anybody. It’s a whole bunch of eat real and well but don’t know anything about yoga and exercise and they just eat well and good but they don’t exercise and it shows, because you can’t be healthy and not exercise. They’re the end of the spectrum or all the athletes out there who are going physical specimens but eat like shit and then they are also on the road to disaster. When they put the both of them together you have an environment of transformation, no potential that is profound, that’s what the program is.
giving it the opportunity to let your body be in this place that it loves to be which is exercising everyday and eating perfectly and resting a lot and all that stuff that it likes to do when its doing what it wants to do.
